Cryo Slimming / Sculpting
Cryo Slimming uses the science of Cryolipolysis (commonly referred to as fat freezing) to freeze fat, causing the cell death of subcutaneous fat tissue without damaging the surrounding tissue and increases oxygen supply – aiding in collagen production. Subsequently, the destroyed fat cells pass naturally through your body’s lymphatic system over the next couple of weeks.
While results are generally visible after the first treatment, it should be noted that the best results appear 2-3 weeks after the first treatment. The general recommendation is 5 sessions to obtain the best results. Since cryo slimming is permanent, the results could extend for several months afterwards.

We target a specific area of the body (the area you want gone) and contour and reduce fat through a fat freezing process called “cryolipolysis” which literally translates into cold (cryo) fat (lipo) destruction (lysis). At 39°f fat cells freeze and break apart, allowing the body to remove them permanently. A single treatment takes about 30 minutes and multiple applications are needed to achieve desired results. The most common side effects include redness, bruising, swelling, tingling or numbness of the treated area.
The treatment is done manually, starting with a stream of pressurized cold CO2 that rapidly cools the treatment area and begins to freeze the fat. After the area is cooled down adequately enough for the fat cells to freeze and die, a massage technique is done with a frozen attachment. The massage helps the dead fat cells break away from the surrounding tissue for the body to dispose. The purpose of the treatment is to lower the temperature of the fat cells enough to reduce fat without harming surrounding tissue.
We will customize the temperature to your specific needs and comfort level. Typically clients choose temperatures between -90°F and go as cold as -195°F. It takes a minute or two for the cryo sauna to reach these temps, so in a typical 3 minute session you may only be at your max (coldest) temperature for the last 60-90 seconds. Many studies have been done on cryotherapy and have reported very positive “side effects”. Some active members report reduction in cellulite, firmness of body mass, some tightening of skin, and improved immune systems.
There have been historical occurances, many of these by operators who do not follow the recommended treatment regimes, where people have experienced frost bite. We do not allow anyone to undergo therapy for longer than 3 minutes. To protect you from any adverse effect, we will provide you with the safety standards and all details of the treatment. Additionally, a trained, certified, friendly freeze staff member will be there to keep you safe while you reinvigorate your body and mind in the cold chamber.
Because of the extreme cold exposure and rapid change in skin temperature, your body produces heat internally to warm itself back up. This process is called cold- induced thermogenesis.
One session of whole body cryotherapy has been shown to burn between 500 and 800 calories. That’s a lot of calories that get burned for standing in a tube for 3 minutes!
A 2018 study in the Journal of Obesity found that cold-induced thermogenesis led to an overall loss of body mass particularly around the waist by an average of 3%.
Some clients like to do cryotherapy everyday, which is safe and effective. However, many find that the effects are felt for up to 3 or 4 days.
